You will find the village of Limnati 15km north of Limassol towards the mountain of Troodos and east of the village Lania. Limnati took its name due to huge amount of lakes which are surrounding the area. The village consists from the pano and kato horio and the pera geitonia. The village is surrounded by many chapels such as Agios Mamas, Agios epifanis, Agia Eleni, Agios Elias, Agios Giorgis, Agia marina, Agios Nicolaos, Agia Paraskevi and many others. The residents of the village are mostly occupied by the cultivation of almond trees and the village itself is the first in almond production all over Cyprus. They also produce grapes, olives and grain. The village is very beautiful the residents very friendly and characterized by their hospitality and its worth to pay a visit.
